Referral for Jake's Voice

Today we had Jake's appointment at Stepping Hill Hospital for his gravelly voice. We arrived early so hit Sainsburys first for some toast and jam. We were sat by the window and Jake enjoyed watching the cars in the carpark. Once we arrived at the hospital we didn't have to wait long until we were seen. The consultant advised his voice wasn't normal for a child his age and that it could be one of three things: excessive use of his voice (I disagreed), an infection I passed to him whilst I was pregnant (I disagreed) or scarring caused as a result of the tube down his throat when he had his Pyloric operation when he was 7 weeks old (sounds the most convincing). He then said the only way to establish what it is is to put a camera down and take a look. So we left waiting for an appointment for his pre-op.
