Devon: Westward Ho!

We took a trip out to Westward Ho! and had a walk along the promenade. Adam took Noah "off road" and went climbing on the rocks whilst Jake and I took photo's of the beach huts. To warm up we went to a sea front cafe / restaurant for cream tea.

Another wet and cold weekend walk!

Monsal Trail

We found out about the Monsal Trial after driving past a sign for it and then googling what it's all about. Turns out the walk runs along the former Midland Railway line for 8.5 miles between Blackwell Mill, in Chee Dale and Coombs Road, at Bakewell. We obviously didn't do the length of it..

But some of the sights we stumbled upon were pretty impressive. Oh and it was wet, we got very wet, but that makes it more fun right?

I don't even know what was making Jake so smiley after his lunch, but he was looking so adorable I could have eaten him up myself!
