Devon: Coastal Walk and Minehead

Adam and I had a lovely opportunity to leave the kids with Grandad while we went out on a fabulous walk!

Next stop was Minehead which was a really nice place although I can't shift 'Butlins' from my head!

Perfect end to a wonderful week down in Devon.

Devon: Ilfracombe and The Tunnels

To be far it was quite cold today but we still ventured over to Ilfracombe.

Nana and Grandad met us there, had a wander and then took Jake back home with them while Adam and I took Noah to explore The Tunnels.

This place, although rather wet from the rain and chilly, was amazing!

We went as the pool was filling in with the tide and waited around to watch it. Where we had once walked around the wall, we could no longer see it!

Devon: A day spent back at base

We had a chill day...

The boy's had way too much fun with the remote controlled car of Grandad's!

Devon: Woolacombe

The wonderful weather had continued into the next day so we headed down to Woolacombe beach. We stopped off for some breakfast first and neither of the boy's particularly wanted their photos taken!

Down on the beach was awesome. There were some parts where we had it to ourselves!

After exploring the beach we were ready for a very well deserved ice cream - first out door ice cream of the year!

Finally we attempted the family selfie.. it was as successful as ever:

Maybe next year?!

Devon : Braunton Burrows & Crow Point

This was certainly a highlight of the trip. On the way there we picked up Auntie Jo who joined us on the beach. There was no stopping Adam, Noah and Jo! They were up and down the dunes exploring.

We all ended up at the top of a dune at one point - it was rather entertaining watching everyone get down! Noah thought it was hilarious.

Jake was much happier climbing over the rocks with Grandad.
