Rudyard Lake

This is one of my favourite walks as you walk along a miniature railway with passing trains (in season) and then approach a beautiful lake with a cafe.

Another evening playtime

This boy loves his cars and now he has a road to drive them on.. or should I say park them on. All he does is park them!

Manchester Museum of Science and Industry

This place came highly recommended from a friend of mine who also has a 3 year old boy. It was an awesome day out! There were steam trains, transport museum, manufacturing materials, waterworks and tunnels underground, loads of hands on activities, aircraft hanger and a cafe and shop. Plus it was free!

I think the highlight for Noah was the real fire engine we saw when we were eating our lunch, it had the ladder out rescuing someone from a window. We'll certainly be coming back here again.

Jake's first swim

I've started taking Noah swimming on Sunday's which he has really taken to and is probably a little too confident when it comes to jumping in. My mum, Phil and Stewart came this week so with there being 4 of us I decided to bring Jake along.

He loved it! Phil and I took Jake to the baby pool and he thought it was great fun to keep climbing up the steps and bopping back in again. He also built the courage to slide in from the side (I caught him). The only downside, Jake did a poo within mintues of being in the pool but I had no wipes or a spare swim nappy so we just ignored it - changing him afterwards was fun.
