Big boy bed...

I don't think there is ever a right time to put your toddler in a bed. I concluded that whenever it's decided, whatever the age of the child - it will be great fun for them to get out of the bed... because they can! So with this in mind I just went for it and turned his cotbed into one almighty bed.

It was all going well until nap time approached (and passed) and I could hear him running around upstairs... I ignored him and surprisingly it only took him 30 mins before he was defeated.

Jake and Sophie

Since my friend Rach has been on maternity leave, we've been meeting up once a week.  Sophie was born on 30 September so was around 3 months old in these pictures.

They are so cute together!

Car accident

I wasn't going to do a post about this but I figured I can't really ignore the fact it happened and that you were both involved. It was the 2nd January and the three of us were on our way to Congleton. We were coming up on Eaton and I had looked away from the road, didn't even see the parked car and went straight into the back of it. It was horrendous but none of us came away with even a scratch.

The emergency services arrived pretty quickly (which cheered Noah up!) and we were taken to A&E to be checked over. All was well so we were allowed to go home and to have a much needed cup of tea!

 Needless to say the car was a write off. What a wonderful start to the new year!
