We got messy!

Doing some cards for Nana and Nan for Mother's Day.

Skate Park

We discovered this park when we were walking to the library

But it was short-lived as soon as they saw the skate ramps next door to it!

I couldn't quite believe how long these ramps kept the boys entertained. Even when it was time to go they could have stayed longer!

So if I ever need them to burn off some energy I know where I'll be heading!

Buxton Library

It is rather shocking it has taken me over a year to enrol at our local library. I had just been nipping to Macclesfield library on my lunches at work and choosing the boys books for them! Turns out they actually really enjoy it!

It certainly helped that we were the only people there!

The boys also received their first library cards! I honestly thought it was rather unnecessary as Noah is only 4 and lets face it, it's me who has to keep track of the books but with no fees on overdue books I thought it was worth carrying two extra cards around in my purse.

Noah was so proud to walk home with his bag full of books.

Meerbrook Reservoir

We've been here loads of times but I like it because I feel it has the perfect mix of walking, reservoir admiring, exploring and playground (ing).

Although it was the first time we stumbled across this make-shift bridge which occupied them for ages!

Jake was also trying to grasp skimming stones.. aka just throwing them in.

Bike ride in South Park

It has been very cold but I decided today it was time to come out of hibernation and to get the boys out in the fresh air!

We started off by watching the ducks ice skating on the frozen pond...

...followed by about 3 laps of the park on bikes, lots of paths and hills...

...and we then finished off on the playground area mainly going down the slide.

Before we went home we called round to see Gran, so stayed for a cup of tea and a catch up.
