Noah's Swimming

I've been meaning to do this for quite some time but was dreading it, however I genuinely had a very nice morning with Noah at the swimming pool.

Although not an awful lot of swimming went on (none at all actually) he absolutely loved being in the water just splashing, jumping in and putting his head under. We then stumbled upon a Dad and his daughter who was probably a similar age to Noah. The Dad was lying on his front in the shallow end and Noah decided to roll over his back! I was mortified but Noah (and the Dad, thankfully) found it highly amusing and so he carried on! Noah is completed fearless when it comes to meeting new people (or touching them for that matter) which I guess can be a good thing but also a very very bad thing...

We bought Noah a balance bike. He calls it his motorbike and quite quickly got the hang of it.

Ikea playground?

I took the boys to Ikea. I didn't go for anything in particular and just let Noah wander around on his own accord. He took quite a fancy to the kids kitchen and kept telling me he was making tea then ran to the kiddies rocking chair then back up to the kitchen saying tea is ready! It was cute.

We also stopped for lunch there and may have possibly come home with a kids kitchen...

Finley's 1st birthday party

It was Finley's 1st birthday on 16th June and Charlotte held a party on the following Saturday down in Coventry. The weather was glorious and hot and we were in the garden for all of it with a bouncy castle and bubbles!

Astbury Mere, Congleton

We came here with Grandad last time he was visiting and I really liked it. Noah was struggling a little towards the end, but the promise of an ice cream kept him going!

He was even happy to share it with Jake and I but then inevitably he dropped the last bit of his ice cream on the path and I think it's just easier to say, he wasn't best pleased about it!

This area is up near my mum's house and when I was a lot younger it used to be a large field with a row of trees going though which I used to play around, unfortunately they aren't there any more.
