A Frosty Day

On some of my days off with Jake we have quite productive days and even though today was freezing, we managed to achieve this. We started by walking to the library and playing hide and seek behind the trees! Then after lunch we went down to the park near Wetherspoons and had a good old afternoon spent on his bike whizzing down the hills and riding around the basketball court lines!

Children in Need

It's Children in Need time of year and at school the children can wear either spots of stripes. I searched the shops high and low trying to find a spotty top but could I find one?! No! I had to resort to making one and am chuffed to bits with the outcome! I used coloured Sharpie pens and small flower pots, only downside is that the white top was a little too small for him but he still looked awesome!

Trafford Centre with Nan

Mum had the day off today so we headed to the Trafford Centre. We started with tea and scones, Jake certainly enjoyed that! Then did a spot of shopping and finished off having lunch in Weatherspoons.

Bonfire Night 2016

It was quite a disaster really. By the end we had sworn wouldn't take the boys to another until they are at least 10. We went to Buxton Cricket Ground and to be fair it started off really well. We had walked and Jake had fallen asleep in the pram and Noah was all excited. We found some where to watch and Adam went to go and que for some burgers. Noah was happy rolling down the hill and Jake still asleep. Quite a lot of people had gathered by the time Adam came back but this fine. The bonfire was lit and in turns we took Noah over to see it - Jake was still asleep. I decided it may be better to wake him up before all it started, so I did and he seemed relatively happy. That was until it all began (which was already delayed by 30 mins due to the long que of people wanting to come in). When the show eventually began, Jake was screaming and there was no way of consoling him so Adam tried to take the pram out but due to the sheer volume of people couldn't get past. We spent the entire firework display trying to comfort him but nothing worked. In the end we took Noah's ear defenders off him (bit mean but we were desperate) and this worked although now Noah was screaming!! We were desperate to leave the place but couldn't because of all the people and all the people walking into the pram etc. By the time we got home, fed-up didn't even come into it !!

Annual Trip to Flora for Christmas

Today Rach and I took the (little) boys to Flora Graden centre to get all festive! Afterwards we had lunch at the tea room - perfect!
