Noah's last day at Nursery

 Noah's first day at Footprints:

Noah's last day at Footprints:

It's an emotional time! Although I am looking forward to spending some mummy Noah time during August before he starts school in September. How has this come round so fast?!

Our last evening in Brighton

This was our last evening. Earlier in the day we had a late lunch at a pub near to the beach and went down onto the beach afterwards to let the boys have a swim. Noah was fully in, Jake was just sitting/standing on the shore being gently knocked by the waves. Adam and I were sat on the beach chatting and watching. Next minute I glanced to Jake and he was head down in the water struggling to get up - I ran in and scooped him out, he felt cold and wouldn't stand up. We sat him near us and put his clothes back on and while walking back to the holiday home, I called 111 who advised they had sent an ambulance to check him over. He was fine. They checked the oxygen levels in his blood which were reporting 99% which is spot on. It really shook me up an I kept blaming myself but even if I'd seen it happen, I don't think I could have been in the water any sooner to grab him! None the less, later on  in the evening we went back down to the beach and had ice creams.

...and tried to get our traditional family selfie!

Brighton: Trip to Eastbourne

Day five was all about Eastbourne.

I think this trip on the road train was the highlight of the entire holiday for the boys!

Brighton: Birling Gap, Eastbourne Marina and Kristian

This was Birling Gap

We walked up a very long hill to get to a light house. The views were spectacular.

The boys and I had a paddle in the sea.

We then went to Eastbourne Marina and had a trip on a boat.

Later that evening, Adam and I finally met up with Kristian. This dude is the sole reason Adam and I met. We had a great evening, enjoying Brighton by night.
