Oh, I love this place

This is the Chestnut Centre in Chapel and it's one of my favourite places to go. An added bonus of this trip was the deer being fed as we were walking past! They get super close and are such stunning animals. I could stand and watch them for hours. We did do the entire centre and saw lots of otters, owls and wild cats - but nothing beats deer having their lunch!

This boy cracks me up

I honestly don't know why I found this so amusing, I couldn't stop giggling!

New paddling pool!

This beast of a paddling pool was bought by Nana and to be fair it was awesome! What is it about paddling pools and boys? Literally entertain for the entire afternoon - especially when you introduce bunch o balloons!

Bike riding and Ruby cuddling

We had such a good bike ride today. We went soo far and the boys would have gone further but I had to remind them we also have to go back! We had a little rest on the way back but overall I was so proud of Jake, he managed to keep pace really well. And Noah, he was a little star, he was going ahead but not too far an would keep stopped and checking back on Jake and I. When we got back to mum's the boys played whilst I had a sneaky cuddle with Ruby on the sofa.

These moments..

I was getting dressed this morning and went to check on the boys and found them like this! They really do melt my heart (sometimes) xx

The Roaches

As promised to the boys, we came back with Daddy so they could climb higher and further. We walked right to the end and I got to enjoy the purple heather once again!

Jake's skinny jeans

I used to love Noah wearing these trousers but he had since grown out of them. However my darling boy Jake now fits in them perfectly! How friggen' cute is this boy?!

Southport: Last night in the caravan

...and we did it in style!

Southport: Speedboat trip

This was definitely one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done! Noah was LOVING it and was completely blown away by the experience. Jake went on a more gentle boat ride around the water with Nana and Grandad.

Southport: A day at the sea front

Southport: Early park fun

Today is Grandad's birthday so we invited them to join us for the day in Southport. Our caravan is pretty close to the park but unfortunately the park is usually chocca throughout the day and in the evening. This morning we came to the park around 7:45 and funny enough we were the only people there, it was wonderful! Just with the sun popping out too. I felt super refreshed and ready for another day in Southport.
