Guess what we had for tea...

Mash potato! (...and sausages and beans too obviously)

The swings...

Friday morning was spent at the park. We haven't actually been for a while because it has been far too cold but I'm glad we made the effort today...

...for this very photo! I think he enjoyed his first time on the swings..

Jake wasn't quite as fond of the pancake swing (although was a little happier when Noah got off).

Noah's trike

Every Thursday afternoon I try to get to Mum's to have a catch up with Phil and as the sun was out decided to take Luke out. The only problem was - we had no pram. I'd left mine at home and my Mum's was in the boot of her car, which was at work. So we figured Noah's trike would do the trick.. for Jake!

That was of course until Noah wanted a go. We then ended up having to take turns to push Noah and carry Jake.

Needless to say we didn't make it that far, but Luke still seemed appreciative enough of the fresh air!

Very cold morning in Buxton...

I've always loved Buxton and just wished it was a little warmer this morning! We went for a wander around the pavillions and nearly froze so then when inside and stumbled across a Collectors Toy Fair, which was lovely and warm but crowded by hundreds of old men.

They also had some funny looking ducks - they looked half turkey!

We had a walk down the high street and found a really nice cafe which we stopped at to have brunch.

Jake standing up...

Jake is now getting super good at pulling himself up onto his feet. As soon as he had figured how to get onto his knees there was no stopping him.

He spends more time on his feet now than his bottom!

JJ's with group...

On a Saturday morning once a month, people from group meet at JJ's for a general catch up. It is mainly for people who no longer come on a Friday but like to keep in touch.

We were the very first people there so had the place to ourselves for about 5 minutes! Noah is in his element at these sort of places, he just turns into a crazy child running, jumping, rolling, backwards rollypollying! Jake has great fun too mainly watching the toddlers running around.

Afternoon with Auntie Vicki

As it's half term and Vicki and James are both off from work, Vicki invited us round to her house for lunch - which was delicious home made leek and potato soup with crusty bread. Noah was playing with James for most of the time and especially liked the spinning around in the chair game!

Whereas Jake was more into cuddles...

Noah then decided he wanted to go round high-fiving us all.

See you again in six weeks!

Cheshire Oaks

Phil had an audition at Chester Uni which was a full day event so my mum asked if I fancied meeting her at Cheshire Oaks for a spot of shopping and tea drinking - she knows me all too well!

We stopped for a brew and a cake at this cafe which was then followed by...

A trip to the rather large play area next door!

We carried on wandering around and also saw a man who was displaying some huge owls and eagles which was pretty spectacular. On the way home both boys nodded off in the car.

Morning in New Mills

The weather was beautiful actually, chilly but sunny. So I thought there was no better way to make the most of it than going for a walk in the Peaks!

I had forgotten to take Noah's coat, so he borrowed mine!

This was the River Goyt.

This fab bridge is known as the millennium walkway and tragically the man who designed it was killed in the London bombings in July 2005.

But of course the best bit was the pub lunch afterwards!
