Jake and I hitting The Roaches

There is a story here - yesterday (Sunday) I wasn't feeling too well but Adam still wanted to take Noah out. He brought him up the Roaches and came home with lots of snow photos! Bearing in mind there was no snow in Buxton (shocker I know). The next day I felt better and dragged Jake up to the Roaches in hope of finding snow scenes, not quite - we had fog and lots of it!

Whaley Bridge Skate Park

Was a HUGE success! Adam and I took them here for the first time today and they could have stayed for weeks. As it was pretty wet and miserable we were the only people there too. Certainly going to remember this one!

Day with Nan

My mum has adjusted her working hours to have a day off every 3 weeks to spend with Jake and I. She felt time was passing her by too quickly and that these days before school and potentially me working full-time are precious. This was the first, we stayed in Buxton, the gardens etc and had lunch at the Old Courthouse.

I am desperately trying to make the most of my time off with Jake before he starts school in September and to be fair we are doing a jolly good job of it. Today was another perfect example.

When we made it towards the top, the boys just went crazy - they were running, jumping and even rolling around on the hills - perfect!

Alderley Edge

This Sunday walk took us to Alderley Edge. It was rather chilly and very misty but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Snow Day!

We started with good intentions and I did succeed in getting Noah to breakfast club, however when I came to attempt the Cat and Fiddle I thought better of it. There were no other cars at all on the road and I was sliding even on my winter tyres. Jake and I made the most of the situation and went down to the gardens to enjoy the snow - this was of course until his feet were too cold. It them ended abruptly and we had a movie afternoon.

He was 100% asleep (even though he doesn't look like he is!) and was looking super cute, so I had to photograph the moment.
