Having not been to the Trafford Centre for a while before I came with Mum a couple of weeks ago, I realised how much I had actually missed it. I love it there! So I went with Jake on one of our days and decided I would follow Jake around - it was a pretty awesome day! It started by Santas Grotto (he wasn't really thrilled by this but didn't have the choice). Afterwards we went to the Lego shop, the place was empty so he perched himself down on the build table and was there for easily 20 minutes building away. I sat with him and helped him build. After all that building we went through the big connecting tunnel, Jake decided to race me down it! I don' think I've even been down that tunnel so fast. We went to M&S cafe for elevensies and sat by the window so he could watch the traffic. Next up was Hamleys (we couldn't not really!) Hours of amusement in there! Even cooler was the Playmobil play stations just outside the shop. All free and play for as long as you like. Although Jake could have easily stayed for asges so next up was Disney store - he wasn't interested in the shop just the Disney music videos playing on the screens! Finally Build-a-Bear where I treated them both to Paw Patrol character. They were already made up, I could't be doing with the que just to stuff them! We both really enjoyed ourselves. I feel optimistic that I can do this whole parenting thing in the cold winter :)
