Noah's trip to Manchester

Noah's last day of pre-school was at the end of July. We therefore have 5 weeks of three days (when I'm at work) where he needed to be looked after. Between myself, Adam, Mum and Phil we have just about managed. This was my first day off with him and we took the 'fast' train into Manchester to have an explore and to meet Daddy for lunch. It started amazingly when Noah got his very own train ticket, with his name on it!

They also gave him a story book to read while we were travelling. Although Noah was glued to the window so we didn't get opportunity to read it.

We started off by playing on the park just outside Daddy's work. Although it was a little bit early to meet him.

Apart from the fast train, the trams were Noah's highlight!

We met Daddy and went to Ed's Diner for lunch.

Afterwards Noah and I went to explore around China Town.

And the Manchester Art Gallery. There was a kids workshop on while we were there, based around the current exhibition 'Vogue 100' celebrating 100 years of Vogue. The kids had to go and look at the gallery of Vogue photographs and draw what they liked.

Noah took a shine to a photo of a naked woman lying front down on a white horse - you could see a bit of side boob. He then drew a woman with one boob.

The workshop afterwards was lots of fun!
