It was the first day of my new job at work and just to keep up tradition Jake was poorly. Well, he was during the night from 3am with sickness and diarrhoea but come breakfast time he was fine! If I had told nursery they wouldn't have really wanted him to go in and to be fair you're never too sure how they are going to be the next day, so although I had to call in on my first day and I'm glad I was able to stay with Jake - just in case. There was obviously a lot of washing which needed to be done and Jake was fascinated for a good 10 minutes watching the dryer and washing machine go round!
